Bio
Anne Marie Hempy, formerly Anne Marie McNeil, of Abbeville, South Carolina, is the daughter of the Honorable Bill and Alice McNeil of Abbeville. Anne Marie was valedictorian of her class at Abbeville High School and graduated cum laude from The University of South Carolina Honors College in 2003.
Anne Marie received her Juris Doctor from The University of South Carolina School of Law in 2006. While in law school, Anne Marie served as an Articles Editor for the South Carolina Law Review. Prior to joining Hite & Stone, Anne Marie was an associate at prominent firms in Greenville and Columbia, SC, and previously served as a law clerk for the Honorable G. Ross Anderson, Jr., United States District Court.
Anne Marie’s handles the majority of the real estate and probate litigation for the firm. Anne Marie’s practice also consists of estate planning such as wills, powers of attorney, and family real estate transfers.
